Birthdays

So I just moved into this house with two other girls, right?

Well, yesterday I found out that one of my roommates' birthday was in exactly a month from now. October 2nd.

I got pretty excited thinking of a surprise birthday party for her. I started decorating in this little room in my head -- deciding the theme, balloons and a gift....

And then, later the same day, I found out that she would be away in Milwaukee for her birthday.

Packed away the thought of a birthday party pretty quickly after that. Empty thought bubble now.


Bummer.
